If you are registered as an Agent for PAYE with the HMRC you should enter your Agent User ID and Agent Password in the E-File Setup section. This also enables you to access the HMRC Data Provisioning Services (DPS) to receive Auto Tax Code updates, Notices and other HMRC emails.

To setup, simply select Chart of Setup from the Employer/Setup drop down menu. Click on E-Filing Setup under E-FILING. Select the option “ I am an AGENT / BUREAU acting on behalf of an Employer / Contractor and wish to use the Agent HMRC User ID and Password for E-Filing / DPS”. Now, click on the Edit button to enter your Agent E-filing details. Enter Your Client's Employer's / Contractor's PAYE Reference number. Further enter your HMRC Agent User ID and Agent Password that you obtained from HMRC. Enter your Gateway Agent ID and your HMRC Agent Reference. Enter the rest of the details and click on Save to save the E-Filing set up details you just entered.
